About Me

Patrick Tobey is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has been providing mental health therapy and consulting since 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada.  He is a Board Certified Hypnosis instructor and a certified trainer for Parts and Memory Therapy.  He also works part-time as an adjunct professor teaching psychology at the Community College at Southern Nevada and a state approved primary supervisor providing supervision for therapist interns since 2018.

Patrick Tobey is a native Nevadan born in Carson City, NV.  After attending UNLV and receiving a degree in psychology he joined the Marine Corps and served from 1997-2001, attaining the rank of Sergeant before receiving an honorable discharge.  He also taught martial arts for 25+ years traveling to and studying in Japan at times and has trained and promoted many students to black belt.  He has worked in the casino industry where he developed and provided security training programs for security departments at MGM/Mirage properties on use-of-force, defensive tactics, and de-escalation techniques.
