Who can get certified in Parts and Memory Therapy?
PMT certification is designed for licensed mental health professionals including LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCs, psychologists, and other credentialed clinicians. Pre-licensed interns may attend training at a discounted rate.
What are the certification requirements?
Certification requires completing the Level I and Level II workshops plus 20 hours of consultation/mentorship with Patrick Tobey. The full package is available for $1,100 — a $200 savings over purchasing separately.
How long does it take to get certified?
Most clinicians complete certification within 6–12 months depending on workshop availability and consultation scheduling. Workshops are offered virtually, so you can complete training from anywhere.
Are the workshops available online?
Yes. Both Level I and Level II workshops are offered virtually, making certification accessible to clinicians nationwide.
What do I get with the consultation hours?
Consultation hours include live case consultation with Patrick Tobey, feedback on your PMT work, and guidance toward certification. You can join the group consultation (Wed 3–4pm & 1st Sat 9–11am) or schedule individual hours at $35/hour.
Is PMT certification recognized?
PMT certification is issued through Equanimity Counseling and Consulting and recognized within the Parts and Memory Therapy community. It demonstrates advanced competency in ego-state and memory reconsolidation-based trauma treatment.
